Odin's Eye is designed for DK or worsted weight yarn. The directions create a mirrored pair of socks with a simple cable running up the outside and culminating in a viking-inspired motif. It is a toe-up pattern with two different sizes (Women's M and L), but the large will fit most men. The length of the foot is easily customizable. One 100-gram skein of yarn is enough for a women's pair, but for a large men's foot, I recommend at least 150 grams.
My samples are knit using Enchanted Forest Fibers DK Merino Sock. I like to knit toe-up socks by dividing the yarn into two balls by weight and then knitting until I run out.
